Safeguarding Policy
Swiss Valley Angling Association is committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all anglers, including children and vulnerable adults. We follow the principles of the social services and well being (Wales) Act 2014 and the safeguarding guidance provided by Angling Cymru.
Our Commitments:
All Juniors must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times
Bailiff and Ranger patrols regularly to ensure safety and compliance
Committee members understand their duty to report Safeguarding concerns.
Any concerns about behaviour, safety or welfare will be taken seriously and passed to the appropriate authority if required.
We promote safe conduct, respect and responsibility at all times.

Please contact a committee member or the safeguarding officer. All concerns are handled sensitively and where necessary, shared with the relevant safeguarding services in line with Welsh Law.
